What we offer
Through Insight Tutoring, our volunteers are committed to work with students and create individual lesson plans that are tailored to their needs. Our volunteers will hold periodic meetings with parents as well to assess their child's performance and any specific areas that they would like to focus on. We will offer one-on-one workshops/interactive videos on how to use technology pertaining to online classes especially in the fall. To get started, register your child today!
Science
Tutors that specialize in Science will be able to provide one-on-one tutoring to your child on a weekly basis/according to needs. Science concepts ranging from grades 1-8 can be taught, and tutors will create individual lesson plans according to parent, student and teacher preferences.
Technology
Our volunteers will create/hold interactive workshops teaching children how to use devices for online learning such as iPads, computers, etc... We will also host training or one-on-one sessions on navigating google classroom, zoom and other classroom used technologies.
Language
Our tutors will assign weekly reading tasks/reading logs to help students improve their reading comprehension. We will also create/provide practice worksheets and book recommendations for tutees to work on during their free time.
Math
Tutors will create math lessons tailored to the student's strengths and weaknesses. Weekly/Bi-weekly assessments will be given to help students stay on track and develop learning plans.
